A gift for the newly married- Mr. Taj and Caroline Farouki. May your love be everlasting, unconditional and surpass the ordinary.
The Inspiration.
Truthfully, I would like to honor the fact that this is the piece that inspired by the beautiful example of faithfulness, romance, and trust displayed through the Farouki's relationship. I embarked on the difficult journey of accurately portraying how I viewed their relationship, while delivering on what they wanted to display in their home. Fortunately, Mrs. Caroline Farouki knew exactly what she wanted, and I did not want to disappoint the bride-to-be.
The Process.
There is so much that was involved with the actual execution of the vision. In fact, there are two separate paintings under this one that created the base and texture for what you see. A total of 40 hours went into creating this piece, the other exaggerated 130 are unaccounted for due to the fact that time was used for critical criticism and second guessing. I wanted to deliver perfection and accuracy of how I interpreted and saw their relationship. As a self-proclaimed painter, I am not sure I personally delivered, but I am very pleased with the result. The texture, contrast, negative space, and resin pour came together beautifully and from the heart- A genuine gift.

A Letter of Encouragement.
Dear Farouki's,
My heart and the hearts of many who gathered together on Friday, June 21st 2019 in honor and celebration of your marriage express a joy that is very difficult to put into words. To give a little behind the scenes, those who gathered for the ceremony were buzzing with excitement before the wedding party entered. Conversation's ranged from the beauty of the venue, what the dress would look like, to the bliss of atmosphere that was created.
Mrs. Farouki, you took all of our breaths away when you walked down the aisle. You carried excellence, humility, and confidence that only one strong in her independence and character could truthfully display. Mr. Farouki, I have always seen you honor and respect Caroline's wishes and desires. We are all in unspoken agreement that you will love and cherish your wife for the rest of your life.
Thank you so much for the invitation to witness your wedding day and relationship since two weeks pre-engagement. Caroline, I lived for the stories, excitement, and exactness of when the proposal would happen during our early morning and late night shifts when we worked together. Your relationship is an example of faithfulness and trust that I hope you see when you look at this painting.
We all wish you joy, contentment, and adventure as you embark on life as one. May your household and family be blessed!
Acrylic 24"x 48" stretched canvas. Not for purchase as it was crafted and gifted for the Farouki's.
